Is It Advisable To Go Back On Pills In Condition Of Heart Palpitations?

I suffer from palpitations especially before my period. ive had various tests ecgs, and an echo that came back clear. i had a 24 hr tape and the results came back as 'simple eptopic beats no sign of dis-arrythmia'.
I went to my doctor and asked if i could go back on the pill i was on cilest for 10 yrs before i had my daughter. I thought it might help with the palpitations before my period, she said i could go back on it. I just wanted a second opinion really if it was ok to go back on it. I also have them at times of anxiety if my heart is racing. thank you.
