Is It Advisable To Sit For Long Periods While Having Hiatal Hernia?

Hey there, I have hiatus hernia and it hasn t bothered my in a long while. I have just changed jobs, first day sitting at a desk where I am use to running around and can feel a discomfort I haven t felt in a while. Will sitting down for long periods effect my Haitua hernia?
