Is It Advisable To Take Primolut N To Start The Periods?

I missed my period for 10 days now.. i did a pregnancy test and an ultrasound which shows negativr results...i was prescribed primolut n 5mg tablets in order for my period to start...is that harmful. i dont have irregular periods even though i have pcos what should i do?
