Is It Advisable To Take Generic Form Of Lamictal?

I'm trying to locate a source for the true Lamictal generic from Burr. Insurance changes have made the brand name price prohibitive BUT my MD does not want me to use generics due to the non-active ingredients (fillers) that can affect effectiveness for some patients. She said if I could locate the generic made by the original Mfg it would be suitable. Can you help?
