Is It Advisable To Use Salactol In The Scalp For Warts?

I have two warts one on my finger close to the nailbed and another on the head, close to my hairline. My doctor didn't recommend me any treatment but I put salactol on both and there is no effect. Can I use salacatol on the head? Can than make to lose my hair in that region. Is there any effective treatment
