Is It Bad For Someone To Breath In Second Hand

Is it bad for someone to breath in second hand smoke from weed when they have a stomach ulcer? I have heard that smoke is bad for a stomach ulcer but weed is good for stomach problems. I don't smoke at all but my roommate won't stop smoking weed in the house.
