Is It Common To Have Delayed Menses After Taking Etosys For Spotting?

I had spotting for over a week in between my mestrual cycle last month. I was prescribed ETOSYS for 3 days. The spotting stopped, However, I've not got my periods which was due on the 1st of this month. Is it a common side effect. How long should I wait before I go back to my gynaecologist.
