Is It Effective To Take Microgynon Without Breaks For Periods?

Hi, I've been taking microgynon 30 for nearly a year, but instead of taking a 7 day break after taking the pill for 21 days I just take it constantly purely to stop me from having a period. I know I shouldn't do this but I can't stand having a period. However, I've been with my boyfriend for 9 months and have regular sex and I haven't got pregnant in this time. Its just occured to me that I'm not taking the pill correctly yet I've never got pregnant? (Not that I want to yet) And I'm concerned whether I can have kids or not. Does the pill still work effectively the way I take it without any breaks (Which is why I haven't got pregnant) Or does it not work this way? - which will mean I can't have kids?? Someone help! I'm 18.
