Is It Necessary To Be On Levothyroxine For Hypothyroidism?

I was wondering if you could tell me. I was diagnosed about a year or so with thyroid condition hypo I was put on levothyro and took it as directed for a few months I then started to forget to take it so was not taking it for a while I went to doctor last week she checked my levels and said I don t need to start medicine again my thyroid issue is gone is that possible? I don t wanna go untreated and have future problems
