Is It Normal For Areola To Finish Coloring After Breast Reduction Surgery?

I had a breast reduction June 09, and I am curious to know is it normal for the areola to finish coloring? I have some small spots that are like pinkish. I had the areola removed and replace during the surgery. Can someone assist me? Is there a cream or anything I can use to speed the coloring up in that area?
