Is It Normal For My Husband To Feel Extremely Tired And Have Trouble Sleeping 3 Days After Getting A Pacemaker?

My husband had a pacemaker/defibrillator put in his body 3 days ago. He has trouble sleeping long periods in bed He is extremely exhausted. His heart exists with about only 30% of his heart working. Is there something wrong that he is so very tired?
