Is It Normal For My Period To Be Lighter And Shorter After Stopping Duphaston?

I was taking duphaston for 1 and half years, twice a day, from 20-27th day of cycle and everything was fine. This month, i was advised to stop using duphaston at all. I did not get my period for 35 days. Doctor gave me 2x 10 mg for 5 days, on the fifth day, i got period. Light and with normal cramps. Day after, still cramps and a little bit more blood, but not as usual. My bleeding usually lasts 6-7 days, normal bleeding. Can this be lighter period? Is it expected to be? I didnt even take ibuprofen as i must every cycle because of cramps.
