Is It Normal To Experience Frequent, Urgent Urination And Lower Abdominal Pain Two Weeks After TURP Surgery?

I had TURP surgery almost two weeks ago. I know it’s very early in the healing process, but I have a question about urgency issues which I know are normal at this point in the process. At night in bed, I wake up about every 50 minutes to one hour, with gentle urgency, and have a productive urination. During the day, especially while sitting including driving, but also from general activity, I have strong urgency every 20-25 minutes, not very productive urination, and then pain in the lower abdomen for maybe 5 to 15 seconds. Not sharp excruciating pain, but a strong ache. Does all this sound normal two weeks out? And why is it so different when sleeping compared to going about my normal daytime business?
