Is It Normal To Experience More Bleeding Than Expected After A Septate Hymen Tears?

I ve been experiencing difficulties with tampons and also sex because I have a septate hymen, and it s a bit rarer as I have read, but not so rare. And it just tore in half and is bleeding what I would say is a little more than expected, is that normal?
