Is It Normal To Have Bleeding After 12 Years At The Age Of 59?

I'm 59 years old and post menopausal. Four days ago I had a hysteroscopy and D&C. I had spotting for just one day then totally stopped. Now 4 days later I started bleeding like a normal period. Is this normal? Until recently I haven't had any bleeding for 12 years. My doctor removed polyps.
