Is It Normal To Have Burning And Itching On Using Clingen Suppositories?

Hi. Iam 11 weeks pregnant and i have been diagnosed with vaginal ecoli infection. Dr has prescribed clingen suppositories for 7 days. After inserting the medicine, i feel itching and burning initially but then it subsides. Pls tell me is this normal and safe during pregnancy. Thanks Niti
