Is It Normal To Have Clear, Stretchy Mucus Mixed With Brown Blood Before My Period?

Hello, I have a question about my period. This cycle I had ewcm and around that time I had a bit of pain on the right side of the lower abdomen and slight breast pain. My last period was on the 26th of December. I believe I ovulated a few days later and I am expecting my period in these days. A week ago I begun to have breast pain which I get almost every cycle before my period. Today I had very slight cramping and when I went to wipe I saw quite a bit of like ewcm (clear and stretchy) but mixed in with brown blood. I had spotting on a few occasions previously the day before my period, but never had this stretchy watery mucus. I also took a pregnancy test just in case and it is negative
