Is It Normal To Have Dark Brown Discharge And Cramps?

My last period started out with dark brown discharge at the beginning for 2 days then my period flowed very heavy and red like normal. This month, it is now time for my period. I am supposed to start today but I have had very little cramping and I have been queefing a lot. My skin is very oily and I have had a few breakouts. I am sexually active.
