Is It Normal To Have Extended Bleeding Days After Novasure?

I had the Novasure procedure on 1-18-10 and for the most part was happy that my heavy flow is gone, however my cycle has changed from 6 days before novasure to 35 days after novasure, my periods are lite but last a very long time. so now I ask myself was it worth it? is it normal to have a period for 30-35 days? I am 50 yrs. old and still have a cycle. my height is 5'1 and my weight is 125lbs.
