Is It Normal To Have Heavy And Prolonged Bleeding During The First Period After A C-section?

Hi Doctor , I have gave Birth on 2/3/2021 via Caesarean , but my period come again on day 40 which is quite heavy as compare to my previous period before childbirth. May I know it is normal to have heavy bleeding for first period after childbirth and now already the 11 day of the period but still bleeding with slow flow. At night time not bleeding at all. Only Morning time bleeding come and afternoon will getting lesser. Please Advice it is normal?
