Is It Normal To Have Heavy Red Bleeding With Clots After C-section?

I had a cesarean section 6 weeks ago. My bleeding stopped within 10 days, and eventually the discharge began to change colour. the discharge was so light that I only needed to wear a panty liner. However within the last week i have been experiencing very heavy bright red bleeding along side blood clots. Is this normal?
