Is It Normal To Have Itchy Huge Ring Around Wasp Bite?

I was stung in the stomach by a black swasp over a week ago and it still itches and it has a hugh ring around it, is this normal? Should I see a doctor? I m 64, weight around 205, height 5 4 and am diabetic. I take insulin, blood pressure med and something for vaginal dryness. Thanks for your help!
