Is It Normal To Have Light To Heavier Bleeding For Over A Week After A Bilateral Salpingectomy?

I had an elective bilateral salpingectomy on 10/9. I was told I would have light bleeding for a couple days. I've been spotting since after surgery (9 days) but today 10/17 it has got a little heavier. I should add that I haven't had a period in almost 2yrs from the depo shot and I had the depo shot 5 days before surgery. So I know it's not a period. Is bleeding this long normal? And it getting heavier, is that normal? Should I be concerned?
