Is It Normal To Have Prolonged Periods With Heavy Bleeding?

HI ive had my period for about 8 days and at first i had light light bleeding and i had stopped and then agian light bleeding and the very next day i was flowing heavy but at the begining of this month my boyfriend came inside me is it normal i still have my period for about 8 days?
