Is It Normal To Have Severe Abdominal Pain Post Gastroscopy And Biopsy Procedure?

Hello doc. I have jus undergone a gastroscopy and biopsy about 2 hours ago...the procedure see to have gone well and I will be seeing the doc after 1 month in regards to the results...I haven t eaten or drank a nothing since bf 12am and my appointment was for 2pm...I was very hungry after the procedure and asked the nurse if I can eat she said yes...as I got into the car I started having stomach aches do I thought I was just hungry so my husband got me a sandwich and coffee when I got home I started having the pain more more that I started to cry...it was sticking pains in my stomach and chest...is that normal after this procedure?
