Is It Normal To Have Soreness Around The Surgical Area?

had gallbladder surgery one week ago on Thursday.Feb.26, the procedure was done by Laparoscopic. gallbladder was remove for the reason it was not function properly causing allot of nausea and some discomfort. surgery went fine, no stones. i was very sick throwing up after surgery. which they me kept in the hospital over night. the last two days having discomfort soreness in the area of the gallbladder and it comes up to the the top of the stomach. sometimes it is very sore when i sit allot . and when i do move around it just feels like i am still having symptoms of the gallbladder . just wondering if this normal? No nausea. just the feeling of the gallbladder would when acting up. wondering if this is just the after effect.
