Is It Ok To Prick A Mole With A Needle?

Hello, Doctor. I had a pimple that was over a mole on my face. I had gone to get a facial and had asked the estetician not to touch it, and she decided to do it any way -she stuck a pin in the pimple and extracted the infection. Do I need to worry about this? My mother is a nurse and she has always told NEVER to touch any moles EVER anywhere on your body and to go to a doctor immediately if any moles ever change color and look different. I'm very concerned.
