Is It Ok To Stop The Dosage Of Medroxy After Period Stops?

Hi , My doctor gave me apo medroxy 5 mg daily for 14 days to stop my menstruation that I had more than 3 weeks. the first day after taking this medication my periods has stopped. I still have 8 tablets, what happens if I stop taking this medication since my periods has stopped? I don t like taking any medications.
