Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is it possible for a child to get ureaplasma? My 4 year old has had vaginal/crotch issues for months now. We've taken her to a multiple docs who have given us no answers. Fast forward to today and I find out I have ureaplasma. I know they say it's sexually transmitted, but is it also possible to get it not from sex? I wish I knew what to do for my daughter. She's always itching and irritated down there.
