Is It Possible For Mastoiditis To Be Caused By A

Is it possible for mastoiditis to be caused by a car accident? I have no real allergy history, rarely have a cold or congestion. I was in a Chevy Tahoe and kind of t-boned it, I was going about 45mph. I did not have any loss of consciousness, no airbag deployment, but I did hit my head hard on the headrest. I have seen 2 ENT doctors, one said yes and one said no. It seems like maybe the force could have pushed fluid into the mastoid. I have been told that it is inflammatory, not infectious.
