Is It Possible To Contract With Chronic PID At Early Fifty?
Hi doctor, My mom, aged 48 years is suffering from irregular periods, she was taking treatment to have normal periods. Now, she had a scan and the report says uterus is enlarged, the anteverted measures are 8.0x4.70x5.3cms. And her endometrial wall thickness is normal. The report also says she has chronic PID, which is a sexually transmitted infection. Is there a chance of chronic PID at this age? If so, what will be the treatment?
