Is It Possible To Cure Parkinson's Disease Using Stem Cells?

Long ago, stem cell research looked very promising & appropiate for a seem less cure for parkinson,s. did the FDA & religions stand in the way? Where can current clinicals, outside private cures be found? As I recall, it was assumed that stem cell & Parkinson's were a match made in heaven!
