Is It Possible To Get A Piece Of Food Lodged

Is it possible to get a piece of food lodged in my epiglottis? I was taking a bite of food today and it was very hot so I swallowed it quickly to not burn my tongue. Later on I've felt very uncomfortable as if food has been stuck and I can't swallow a large piece of it down my throat.
