Is It Possible To Have A Yeast Infection Without Clumpy

Is it possible to have a yeast infection without clumpy white yeast?I am very prone to getting yeast infections and I have the all the symptoms like itching,burning when urinating and it's very red and swollen down there.I haven't been sexually active in a while so I highly doubt it's a STD.What could be causing this discomfort?
