Is It Possible To Have Penis Resized Via Surgery?

I am a very sceptical lady, because a new man friend has told me that when he was married he had a penis reduction because it was too painful for his wife to accomodate. I don't believe that its possible to have that operation done, especially as it would have been quite a few years ago! After all,how could a penis be reconstucted to be able to perform properly??? P.S. I have not yet had a private viewing, lol.
