Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is it possible to have upper thigh pain from a blockage in femoral artery. Diagrams of this artery run where my pain is associated. Pain occurs only when walking and no pressure can be tolerated on affected leg. Pain goes away after only a few minutes and will return sporadically under same conditions, Some soreness in thigh muscle, minor, when episodes are close together or frequent upon trying to walk(usually after sitting or driving). Usually happens a few minutes after getting out of car and entering store. Pain runs across upper thigh, not vertical. Please advise.
