Is It Preferable To Get Nuclear Stress Test For Heart Disease,diabetes And Hypertension?

I am a 68 year old diabetic and had a recent echo cardiogram. yMy primary care doctor suggested I also get a nuclear sress test. I have no symptoms of heart disease other than diabetes and hypertension. I did not want the nuclear stress stest because of radiiation exposure. I need a good cardiologist and internist in the DC area. I live in rural Va. but prefer to be near my daughter if I need further treatment. I also suffer from anxiety so I need a sensitive doctor with a good bedside manner. YYYY@YYYY
