Is It Safe For A Virgin To Undergo Raspa Dilation And Curettage Procedure For Prolonged, Intermittent Heavy Bleeding?

Hi I am still virgin but my OB recommended me to have raspa is that okay? What are the pros and cons for this procedure? At the mean time I am experiencing heavy bleeding and long mens duration for 3 months now but not straight heavy bleeding there are just days that it is very heavy like now and yesterday I try to take hemostan but still doesnt stop. I would appreciate your honest doctoral opinion. Thank you very much
