Is It Safe To Breastfeed During Cold?

Hi, my neice just gave birth on Saturday, to a baby girl, the baby , she is breast feeding her, she sixteen years old. but the baby is not feeding no more than four times a day, she sleeps most of the time. My neice also is coming down with a cold, what will be good for her to take, until her appointment. please help
