Is It Safe To Chew The Birth Control Pill And Swallow?

Hi, tonight i was having sex with my boyfriend when the condom broke when he was finishing. he always pulls out and i am on the pill we both are always very careful i do take my pill religously but sometimes i am afraid to swallow pills so i bite it in half and then swallow. what do i do?
