Is It Safe To Conceive While Having An Ovarian Cyst?

Hi.. I am 24 yrs old. I had my first pregnancy at the age of 22. Due to some reasons it got aborted. During that time my left ovarian cyst size was 5.3 cm. Now also it is 5.3 cm. I want to get pregnant now, will it make any problem now if i want to get pregnant. My doc suggested me to go for laprascopy nd remove it. Is there any other option for it
