Is It Safe To Drive After Taking 4 Mg Of Requip?

I was told by a physician that taking (2) 4mg tablets of Requip was one tablet too many to be able to drive a commercial vehicle. I have since lowered my dosage to l table per day and it seems to be doing the same for me. Is 2 tablets per day too many.
