Is It Safe To Feed Soy Milk To Children Suffering From Atopic Dermatitis?

good day! my baby boy has been diagnosed with moderate atopic dermatitis. he is 1 yr and 2 mos. weighing 10kls. His allergologist gave him an oral meds, antihistamine and montelukast and a lotion to moisten his skin. For the milk she suggested a hydrolized whey protein from cow s milk. Doc can i give him a soy milk instead of cow s milk and also is it safe to use a topical cream/ointment? TIA
