Is It Safe To Give Ambrodil Syrup For Cough And Cold In Children?

My son is 15months old, he is suffering from cough &cold from last 3days. Docter prescribe as under:- bactaclove syrup,sumol,&teddycoff with livocetragine syrup. Now 3 days has gone & 50% relief. My friend who is medical shop owner suggest me to give Ambrodil-s,syrup and go for steam . kindly advise whether,I go for ambrodil s syrup, whether it is safe?
