Is It Safe To Give Febrex Plus For Fever And Cold In Children?

My daughter is 4 months old weighing 4.8 kgs. She is having cough and chest seems to be conjested. She had a fever of 101.1 for which wr gave her metacin syrup at 9pm. Is it okay to give her febrex plus as per the last prescribed dose now. As it is 10 past 2 and 6 hrs of gap... plz suggest
