Is It Safe To Have Calcium Tablet Along With Anti Hypertensive Drugs?

My wife 60 yrs old,underwent Angioplsty 2yrs back, till date her BP was controlled with Metolar 75 mg, but in recent review her BP was 160/80, so Dr added Tab S-Numelo 2.5mg OD...Since its Calcium Channel blocker, will it be advisable for her to take Tab. Calcium prescribed by Orthopaedician for her Osteoarthritis Knee joint,along with newly prescribed anti hypertensive drug S-Numelo....
