Is It Safe To Have Glycomet To Control Blood Sugar Levels?

My random blood sugar level is 180...... I am taking Metformin XL 500 1.5 in the morning after food along with amlong 5mg and 1 Metformin XL500 and amlosafe AT 5mg at night after food. Do I need to take Glycomet GP1 to control my sugar level? Recently we found protein in my urine and uric acid level in the blood is also high (not too high). Kindly suggest me.
