Is It Safe To Have Regestrone For Stomach Pain During Periods?

sir, my daughter is 19 years old and feeling severe stomach pain and uneasiness during her periods. Periods are regular. Scan report shows no particular problem exist in it our local gynacologist reports. She suggested to take regestrone for three consecutive periods which should start from the 16th day of last periods date for 10 days. My daughter is thin and usual gastro problems always arises to her. Can i give her this regestrone as suggested by our Doctor without any doubt?
