Is It Safe To Have Warfarin After Having Mild Heart Stroke?

My 65 year old friend has had two mild strokes about 1 month apart. His doctor put him on wharferin but I am trying to sugest he takes angioprim. I know angioprim clears the blood vessels but would it reach the small veins in the brain that cause strokes. Would angioprim help him? Are there any dangers?
