Is It Safe To Occasionally Use Marijuana For Pain While Taking Antibiotics For Diverticulitis?

Hello, I just had a ct scan after a visit to the Emergency room for pain in the lower right abdomen which I thought was going to be appendicitis. It turned out to be diverticulitis and I was prescribed 2 antibiotics. Can I smoke marijuana on occasion to help with some of the pain? Thanks!
